Day 039 _Date: Friday February 08, 2010 Beginning Comments:
Today is a snow day for those of us living in
Right now, I am sitting in front of the keyboard trying to
‘think’ about some direction to go when I shift energy.
I finally give up and decide, like many days, to do ‘pot
luck’. Beginning Time: MST (Not inserted) Location: Loveland, Co. Energy Shift: "Ashunayetya!
Doriville has about as much snow on its sidewalks as there is in

Street, and walk down, if my memory is correct, Water St,
a three block street that passes the Myrtle Mill Annex, the Post
Office (after it relocated from Lovely Street), and ends by the Union
School field.
It seems that
When I get there, however, it doesn’t look very much like the
elementary school I attended for six years.
Actually, it does, and it doesn’t.
Part of it has the form I remember, but another form, looking
almost like a nonphysical library imposes itself like a ‘ghostly’
imprint over it.
What is odd is that I find myself in my fifth or sixth grade
body, playing ‘horses’ with a couple of friends of mine.
I am not sure why I am reconnecting with myself at that point in
time, and pull myself out to watch my younger self laughing with my
friends.
Xan appears to advise me to feel the energy.
At that point in time, I was a ‘normal’ preadolescent,
playing a ‘normal’ game, and connecting with friends in a
‘normal’ way.
Since that time, beginning with junior high, that feeling of
‘normality’ has vanished, bit by bit, part of it being the process
of needing to deal with people who did not know me since kindergarten
(such as junior high), but it also had to do with my opening up, which
had begun as early as seventh grade.
Xan advises that ‘normal’, in this case, is not only about
feeling connected with the current culture, but also involves a feeling
of belonging which is tougher on people who have minimal group identity.
If I can touch the equations – the feelings I had in elementary
school – and pull them back to the present, then trying to connect
with others as self is likely to be easier.
Those that choose to follow one’s own path and avoid group
mentalities, good or bad,
often become ‘loners’ and their worry they are a social
oddity can cause others to tune in to that aspect of self.
As this blog is
turning a little personal, I ask Xan why I am touching this energy
today.
“This is less of a personal issue than a cultural issue in your
nation, and in many other places.
Anyone not willing to kowtow to groups to maintain a personal
identity – be they religious, family, social or business – run the
risk of social isolation.
If one has felt the belonging at some point in one’s life –
such as your connection to your friends on the playground –
and can pull that feeling into the present then isolation becomes
less of a threat.
In reality, all belong to the greater energies, but bodies need
physical belonging. If one
has become wise enough to know that too much interconnection with any
kind of group can involve both loss of identity and immersion, then the
esoteric understanding that one belongs – no matter what one’s
personal situation – can allow healthier connections with any group or
institution.
So this is less about you and more about a growing level of
isolation that those unwilling to “think with the herd” are
experiencing.”
I thank Xan who bows and vanishes while I return to normal
