A Note About My Psychic Services:

These services are not for everyone; they are only for those who are seeking personal growth, the pursuit of world consciousness raising and/or seeking ways and means to change patterns which may be hampering their ability to become more functional and/or productive in their private lives as well as caring world citizens.

As a psychic, metaphysical astrologer, and energetic healer, my desire is to work with those seeking the above goals.

This kind of work involves tremendous energy - much more than many can imagine - and might harm anyone seeking a frivolous reading.

Though I will certainly work with clients who are strangers to me who have accessed this website and would like a reading, I give priority to former clients, known acquaintances (including personal growth subscribers who have gained an idea of how I work) , and their referrals. At this time, this does not mean I will not work with 'cold calls' if there happens to be an opening in my booking schedule.

But this means that there may come a time when I will not book 'cold' off the internet, and only offer readings to those with whom I have some kind of connection.

My 2010 goal is to expand my 'connection' base, and the following ways are how this is possible:

In the Northern Colorado area this year, there will be opportunities to connect at both conventions and seminars and speaking engagements. In Minnesota, where I lived many years, I have many acquaintances and may, at some time, also book a space at local conventions. I also have met many people at the Monroe Seminars in Virginia, hope to expand my connections with other conscious raising seminars, and have offered a free blog subscription list to www.theastraltourist.com since 2005. I am confident that most people who have been on my email list have a general idea about how I work, my priorities, goals, and whether we would be a good 'fit'. For those living in areas beyond my circle of travel, then, becoming a free email subscriber is a good way of establishing a connection.

Included in this group are people who are not on my email list, but consistently read my blogs either on my webpage (www.theastraltourist.com) or through my Google blogger page.

I respect that some who are interested in my work choose to remain anonymous. For those who read my blogs though Google, there is an added benefit that I maintain a blog history of 30 to 90 days before I delete them. This gives a reader not familiar with my work an idea of what I do, at least on a literary level.

Before one would book a reading with me, I would hope he would be familiar with my work in some way; this would allow less surprises during a one-on-one, and a more successful and rewarding experience for both.

One note about remote readings: I am done enough in my life to realize they seem to be more helpful/impactful for those people I have either met physically or with whom I have some significant world wide web history/connection.

So again, if one wishes to book a remote reading, and has not has been a member of my subscriber list, nor have I met personally, nor has not read my blogs, nor is not a referral from a known source, I do not offer a full psychic only reading, but instead a combined astrology/psychic reading which allows me to do some screening, both for the benefit of client and self.

Please understand that my priorities in the metaphysical world are less about giving personal readings, but more about teaching, either through my blogs or through my classes and seminars;

I therefore offer personal readings only on a part time basis for those who I hope can reap the value of the experience.

For this reason I schedule limited readings, and there is likely to be a waiting list.

If you have an interest in booking a reading, therefore, I would recommend that you book one, even if tentative. As I understand the nature of timing, I am more than willing to work with people with last minute scheduling problems, as long as they show the courtesy of communicating these scheduling problems.

Changes as of July 01, 2010:

1. I will be giving priority to psychic only readings.

Psychic only readings include the following:

a. Energy readings of the body (including health trends).

b. Remote reviewing of relationships.

c. Communication with non living entities.

d. Past Life information.

e. Minor (though sometimes intense) energy tunings (minihealings), if applicable.

f. If applicable and helpful, a five minute or less commentary on possibly significant astrological trends.

Cost of reading: $100 for approximately one hour. (Maximum is one hour - this might be less).

(This does not include the lower rates I have negotiated previously to July 15)

2. The Reader's Expectations:

a. The client understands that my services are about assisting the client with self awareness issues, and are not about fortune telling.

b. The client understands that the reader has an ethical commitment to provide only Information, and not ADVICE. As a psychic counselor with no psychological nor medical background, I would be violating ethics to try to practice in either of these disciplines. Counseling clients on how to use their paranormal energies in a more constructive ways, if the subject should arise in a reading, however, is my level of expertise, and does not require licensing.

c. The client understands that the reader will be wanting to have some idea of why the client is seeking a reading. The reader will also request for astrological birth data (if a new client), address and telephone number. The client also needs to understand that he is subject to the cost of the reading if he does not 'show' without reasonable notification at the prescribed date and time of the booking.

d. The client understands that these readings are interactive - that the reader expects verbal feedback - two way input - during the course of the reading. Anyone who comes to a reading expecting the reading will be one sided will either receive astrological information as 'filler' or will be paying for a reading that may not last an hour.

e. The client understands that the reader provides predictive material either only as probability statistics or if "no time no space" issues/events which have touched the client, but has not yet physically materialized seem to be important.

f. Astrological predictive material, which is likely to be a 'heads up' for upcoming trends in the person's life may extend two or three years, but are more likely to be generalized, rather than specific.

g. The reader hopes theses understandings keeps the readings professional and responsible and conforming to the ethical practices of NCGR and other boards of Metaphysical ethics to which the reader subscribes.

4. Booking policies:

At the time of the booking, I will be asking the following questions:

1. Name, address, phone number, date of birth, place of birth time of birth.

2. If the client wishes a recording, I ask the client to bring along a blank cassette tape. If the client prefers, however, I supply blank tapes at a cost of $2. I also supply the recording equipment.

3. If there are specific reasons for this reading, or is one simply seeking out generalized information.

4. I will be outlining cancellation/billing policies, which are as follows:

a. In person clients: I invoice the price of the reading to those who cancel without negotiation; For live clients, I take payment only in cash or check.

b. Remote clients:

I only bill through Paypal invoicing, which will take any kind of credit card;

I expect payment at least three days before the reading;

Any client who has not deposited the funds by that time will receive an email warning him the reading has been cancelled due to lack of payment; I will also be asking if the client wishes to cancel/reschedule.

As I feel ethical procedures impact the quality of the energy, the funds remain in the Paypal account until the consummation of the reading or if the client cancels without notification.

At this point, recording of a remote reading is possible, but not without its risks. If the client wishes a recoding, I will set up the procedure which involves a digital connection to the phone. If the recording works, I then would need to copy the recording to a CD and send it by mail. As this procedure has proved to be a major hassle, my cost for a valid recording is an extra $10. I have no problem if the client wishes to record on their side, as long as they have the courtesy to tell me we are being recorded.

There are no additional phone charges for readings in the United States. Charges for International Readings, however, will need negotiation.

c. My apologies if the policies seem rather harsh, but my experience has shown that some clients seem to think that wasting the time and energy of psychics is much less important than if we were a lawyer doctor or financial planner.

5. Booking Procedures:

             a.   As most people do not like 'phone tag', I recommend contacting me via email. As this is a hotmail account, and your email is likely to arrive as 'junk' please make sure that you have supplied your request on the subject line - such as Request or Inquiry About Booking a Psychic reading. (At this point, I am getting tons of phishing material, and delete any emails coming in with dubious titles (or No Subject).

             b.   You may try to reach me by phone (970) 624-6040; for a variety of reasons, however, catching me live might be difficult. If you want me to call you back, please leave your name, your reasons for calling, and a good time to call. I do my best to get back to people as soon as is convenient for both of us.

             One other note about phone calls: Occasionally I get a call from someone who wants to know what I do as a psychic - as if it is my responsibility to sell my 'psychic bag of tricks'. As my expectation is that most who seriously want to book a reading already have some idea of what I do before they call, please note that the answers I might supply might not be what one expects.
